Thomas Tuchel is open to remaining as Bayern Munich manager, according to ESPN.

The former Chelsea and PSG boss announced back in February, that he would leave the Bundesliga club this summer.

But Bayern have been rejected by potential replacements including Xabi Alonso, Julian Nagelsmann and Ralf Rangnick.

This has led to the former German champions holding talks with Tuchel about the possibility of staying on.

Tuchel has been linked with a move to Manchester United, but he fears he might not get the job even if Erik ten Hag leaves.

He however remains open to holding formal talks with United if negotiations break down with Bayern and a vacancy comes up at Old Trafford.
