Sporting Lagos head coach Paul Offor has demanded a positive reaction from his players ahead of their trip to Benin City.

The modest club will face Bendel Insurance at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium on Saturday.

Sporting Lagos are winless in their last six games in the Nigeria Premier Football League.

Offor said the team need to start getting the needed results in other to move up on the table.

Sporting Lagos are currently 16th on the NPFL table with 18 points.

“After the game against Shooting Stars, the players were really down. I’m counting on them to give us a good reaction in the next game against Bendel Insurance,” he told the club’s media.

“We have dropped a lot of points and we need to start picking up so as to improve our standing on the table.”
