Protesters led by the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, have stormed the National Assembly Complex in Abuja to protest economic hardship and the rising cost of living.

The protesters held different placards lamenting the economic situation in the country.

It would be recalled that organised Labour unions are embarking on two days’ protest across the country.

They are currently at the entrance of the White House, chanting “hunger dey”, a pidgin English phrase which means “there is hunger”.
