Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk has predicted a ‘tough’ clash when his team host Arsenal in Saturday’s Premier League tie.
The Netherlands defender also warned the Gunners that Liverpool will do everything possible to beat them at Anfield.
Jurgen Klopp’s side currently sit in second position on the Premier League table with a point behind leaders Arsenal.
“Definitely [Saturday is a massive game]. A very tough game ahead of us, Arsenal are in very good shape. Obviously it’s going to be a big one and one that I’m definitely looking forward to.They are very good, they are a very good team in every aspect,” Van Dijk said, via the club’s official website.
“I think they are very good and we have to be very good as well at the weekend to win the game. But I love to look at my own team and I love to look at what we can bring to the table, and we have a lot to do as well and we can make it very difficult for them too.
“I have got massive respect for them. But I want to win the game and we will do everything in our power and my power to do so.”
