Liverpool are now officially out of the Premier League title race.

This follows Manchester City’s 4-0 win at Fulham in Saturday’s early kick-off.

Josko Gvardiol, brace, Phil Foden and Julian Alvarez all scored as City went above Arsenal on the table.

Pep Guardiola’s men now have 85 points with two games left, while Arsenal have 83 points with the same number of fixtures remaining.

However, Liverpool who are away to Aston Villa on Monday, have 78 points and can only hit the 84-point mark this season.

This means Jurgen Klopp’s final season at Anfield will end with only the Carabao Cup they won against Chelsea.
