Doma United are working on a new deal for defender Nelson Abiam, according to reports.

Abiam’s current contract with the Savannah Tigers will run out at the end of the current season.

The former Nasarawa United centre-back has continued to impress for Akinade Onigbinde’s side in their second season in the top flight.

Abiam has scored four goals for Doma United this term.

DAILY POST scooped that the centre-back is attracting interest from top NPFL sides and abroad, but Doma United are hopeful he will sign a new contract.

Doma United have held their own in the Nigeria Premier Football League this season.

The Gombe outfit currently occupy the second position on the NPFL table with 28 points from 15 games.
