Uganda U-20 head coach, Morley Ochama has boasted that they got their tactics right in the win against Nigeria.

The Hippos defeated Nigeria 2-1 at the Accra Sports Stadium on Thursday night.

The East Africans now top Group B with three points ahead of Senegal, Nigeria and South Sudan.

Ochama, who was magnanimous in victory revealed the key to his side’s victory against the Flying Eagles.

”I thank the technical team and players for the input. Playing against a superpower of football in Nigeria is never easy but we managed to show them what we can,” the tactician said during his interaction with the media.

“We got the tactics right. After a slow start, the players lifted themselves. We gave our best in this match and won the game” he added.

Uganda will face Senegal in their next game in the men’s football event at the 13th African Games on Monday.

The Flying Eagles will also come up against South Sudan the same day.
