Manchester City striker, Julian Alvarez, has asked to leave the Premier League champions.

According to El Chiringuito, Alvarez has also rejected a new four-year contract.

The Argentinian has shocked City with his demands, after only signing for the club in 2022.

Alvarez was bought by Pep Guardiola after impressing at River Plate.

But he has now rejected a deal that would see him stay at the Etihad until 2028.

He has also demanded that City set a “logical” asking price for potential buyers in Europe.
