A trending video clip captured operatives of the Lagos State Police Command sharing bottle water and biscuits to protesters in the state.

DAILY POST reports that members of the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, and other aggrieved Nigerians are currently protesting the rising cost of living in Nigeria.

The protesters had converged at the Ikeja bridge in the early hours of Tuesday to begin the two-day nationwide protest.

Speaking before the march began at 9:15 am, the Lagos State Chairman, NLC, Mrs Funmi Sessi, said the protest was against the economic hardship faced by workers and Nigerians at large.
