A former tax consultant to the Benue Internal Revenue Services, BIRS, Abraham Waroah, has joined other aspirants to obtain his nomination form to contest for the Benue North East Zonal chairmanship of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the state congresses of the party.

Mr Waroah is from Ukum Local Government Area of Benue State.

Waroah spoke to the media in Makurdi shortly after picking his nomination form over the weekend.

He encouraged party members to work together for the success of the party and pledged to reconcile all members of the party in the zone if he emerged victorious at the congress.

“It would be disastrous for the party to have someone who would be compromised ahead of the next general elections in the largest zone of the party in Benue State.”
