Rangers have solicited for more support ahead of this weekend’s Oriental derby against Enyimba.

The Flying Antelopes and Enyimba will battle in a top-of-the table clash at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu on Sunday.

Rangers top the standings with 61 points, while Enyimba sit in second position with 59 points.

The seven-time Nigeria Premier Football League champions urged their supporters to troop out in large numbers to support the team.

“Thank you for your unwavering support, especially to the fans who travelled to Lagos over the weekend,” the Coal City club wrote on X.

“We are excited to inform you that our beloved Rangers will be taking on Enyimba in an upcoming match this weekend at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium.

“To show our unwavering support and unity, we are calling on all fans to wear their white or red jersey to the game. Let’s paint the stadium in our team colours and create an electrifying atmosphere for players.

“Bring your voices, your passion and your pride together. Let’s cheer our team to victory.”
