The Benue State Government has dissolved the management board of Nigeria Premier Football League side, Lobi Stars.

The disengagement of the board was contained in a statement signed by Solomon Iorpev, Technical Adviser to the Governor on Media, Publicity and Strategic Communication.

The state government also constituted a new board with Dr. Philip Nongu as chairman.

Other members of the board are Dr. Iorngulum Malu, who will serve as secretary; Chief Solomon Andiir; Harry Yachi; Francis Ejiga; and Sir James Iorpuu.

The new board is expected to resume work with immediate effect.

Lobi Stars will start their 2024-25 campaign with a clash against Akwa United on Monday.
