Bala Nikyu has been named new technical adviser of Nigeria National League, NNL club, Gombe United.
Nikyu signed a one-year contract with the option of a renewal.
The experienced tactician is expected to take charge of the team immediately.
The former Nasarawa United gaffer has set his sights on bringing the Savannah Scorpions back to the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL.
“I know other teams have started their preparations but it’s not about how far you go, it’s about how well you perform,” he said at his unveiling.
Gombe United were relegated from the NPFL last season.
