Ilkay Gundogan has named Manchester City as the best club in the world.
The German midfielder said this after re-joining the Premier League champions from Barcelona on Friday.
Gundogan left Pep Guardiola’s side for Barcelona last year.
Speaking to Man City’s website after returning to Etihad, the 33-year-old said: “I’m incredibly happy.
“Happy to see the team-mates, the staff, people that over seven years I had an amazing time with, a very successful time with. Many ups, a few downs, but in general, an incredible experience.
“You realise how big the club is—the best club in the world.”
