Former Chelsea Star, Frank Leboeuf has criticized Kylian Mbappe after France’s Euro 2024 semi-final 2-1 defeat to Spain on Tuesday.

Leboeuf believes Mbappe didn’t perform well for France at the Euro 2024.

Mbappe only scored one goal in five games for the Les Blues at Euro 2024.

Speaking on ESPN’s YouTube channel, Leboeuf said about Mbappe:

“He’s going to be hammered (by the fans) because they have the right to be disappointed.

“He only scored one goal and had one assist. It’s not enough for Mbappe. We put him on such a high pedestal and think that maybe he is the best player in his position in the world but you have to prove it.

“Even before his injury, he’s been struggling for 2-3 months. Is it because he signed for Real Madrid? Hopefully for him, in Madrid, it’s going to be better than this. There is a concern about him. Mbappe wasn’t good.”
