Jadon Sancho’s loan move from Manchester United to Chelsea was confirmed on Saturday evening.

The 24-year-old has joined the Blues until the end of the season.

Speaking after his unveiling, Sancho said he wants to “bring excitement” to Stamford Bridge and emulate his Chelsea idols.

“My idols growing up were Didier Drogba and Frank Lampard and now I have the opportunity to play for this club like them,” Sancho told Chelsea’s official website.

“It’s a great feeling.”

The loan also includes an obligation to buy Sancho for between £20-£25m next summer.
