Former Arsenal and Manchester City defender Gael Clichy has admitted that he wishes Pep Guardiola’s side to win the Premier League title over the Gunners this season.
Clichy claimed that Man City have been the more dominant side this campaign, adding that they are the best team this season.
Speaking to Ladbrokes Fanzone (via Mirror), Clichy said: “What’s impressed me most about Manchester City right now is that, even when they are not playing well, they are destroying teams. Across 90 minutes, they are dominant in pretty much every single game they play.
“But even when they weren’t at their best [against Arsenal], they dominated the game. They may not have won the game, but what I’m saying is that, over a season, they are comfortably the best team.”
