Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta has claimed his team did not get what they deserved following a 2-0 defeat to West Ham on Thursday night.

The Gunners needed three points to overtake Liverpool at the summit.

But goals from Thomas Soucek and Mavropanos ensured the visitors recorded a shock win.

Arteta, speaking to MOTD, said: “We want to be at the top and today we are very, very disappointed.

“We had so much dominance in the game. We are in a really good position.

“Today is a disappointing night. We have to pick ourselves up for a big game against Fulham.”

Arsenal remain in second place with 40 points, two less than Liverpool.
