The Secretary to Apa Local Government Area of Benue State, Hon Baba Agida, is dead.
Agida died in the afternoon of May 21, 2024, in an undisclosed hospital in Otukpo, after a protracted illness.
Until his death, Agida was the leading caretaker chairmanship contender before it was finally given to the incumbent, Hon Ochai Aledu, a decision that came to him as a rude shock.
However, he was compensated with the secretary slot of the local council.
Agida hailed from Oiji ward in Apa LGA.
He is survived by four kids and a young wife.
