Alhassan Yusuf didn’t take part in full training as the Super Eagles begin preparation for their next game at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.

The three-time champions will face the Elephants of Cote d’Ivoire at the Alassanne Quattara Stadium in Ebimpe, Abidjan, on Thursday.

Yusuf was stretchered off the pitch in the Super Eagles’ 1-1 draw with Equatorial Guinea on Sunday.

The Royal Antwerp midfielder was replaced in the 67th minute by Joe Aribo.

The other 24 players took part in the training session.

Yusuf has two days to prove his fitness before the game against Cote d’Ivoire.
