OnePlus is about to announce a new OnePlus Open Apex Edition model on August 7. The new variant will feature a Crimson Shadow color with a faux leather finish and, as per the latest teaser, introduce a new VIP mode.
In a new X post, OnePlus teased the so-called VIP mode for the Apex Edition. As the name implies, it’s a privacy-focused mode, likely similar, or even identical, to the Oppo’s VIP mode found on the Find N3 and the Find X7 Ultra.
