Nasarawa United are awaiting Nigeria Premier Football League’s approval for the return to their home ground, Lafia Township Stadium.

Nasarawa State government officials embarked on an on-the-spot assessment of the stadium ahead of NPFL’s visit on Monday.

DAILY POST recalled that Nasarawa United were suspended from hosting NPFL games at the stadium during the 2022–23 season due to the poor condition of the pitch.

Nasarawa United played their home games at the ground in the Nigeria National League, NNL, last season.

The Solid Miners gained promotion to the NPFL last season.

They will trade tackles with Shooting Stars in their opening game of the new season.
