The Supersand Eagles will host Mauritania in the second leg of the 2024 Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations qualifier at the Murtala Mohammed Square, Kaduna, on Saturday.

Abdullahi Isa’s side defeated Mauritania 5-4 in the first leg in Nouakchott.

It was the Supersand Eagles first international outing in five years.

Victor Tale netted twice for Nigeria in the keenly contested game, with Emeka Ogbonna, Taiwo Adams and Emmanuel Ohwoferia scoring the other goals.

The Supersand Eagles are expected back in the country on Tuesday.

A draw will be enough for the team to secure a place at the 2024 Beach Soccer AFCON.
