It was a big week for announcements. Sony kicked things off with the Xperia 1 VI and the Xperia 10 VI announcements. The Xperia 1 VI brings an end to the 4K display but makes up for it with a brighter and smarter 1080p panel, and increases the zoom range on its telephoto module up to 170mm. Sony’s flagship also packs a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, a 5,000mAh battery that puts most other flagships to shame, and a cool, distinctive design.
