Heartland have resumed training ahead of their matchday 17 fixture in the Nigeria Premier Football League.

DAILY POST reports that the Naze Millionaires are billed to take on Niger Tornadoes at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium on Saturday.

The players had a light training session on Tuesday evening after returning from a two-day festive break.

Heartland recorded their third win of the season against Remo Stars last week.

The five-time NPFL champions moved up to 17th position on the table following the win.

Heartland suffered a 2-1 defeat against Niger Tornadoes in 2022.
