Heartland supporters have expressed their support for the outgoing head coach of the team, Kennedy Boboye.

The Naze Millionaires fans organised a rally after the team’s matchday 16 clash against Remo Stars in support of Boboye.

Boboye, in a teary mood, confirmed his exit after his side’s 3-1 win against Remo Stars at the Dan Anyiam Stadium on Thursday.

The 50-year-old tactician is leaving Heartland after ertswhile handler, Christian Obi was reinstated by Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma.

Boboye took charge of Heartland last month following the sacking of Obi.

The five-time Nigeria Premier Football League champions recorded three wins, one draw and three defeats under Boboye’s tutelage.

Heartland currently occupy 17th position on the NPFL table with 16 points from 16 games.
