Heartland forward Chidiebere Ajoku said the team is aiming to end the year with a victory against Remo Stars.

The Naze Millionaires, who are at the bottom of the table, are in search of their third win of the season.

Heartland will battle Remo Stars in their final league fixture of the year on Thursday.

The encounter is billed for the Dan Anyiam Stadium in Owerri.

Ajoku pleaded with the fans to troop out en masse to support the team.

“It is a game we are working hard to win because we know that is the last game of the year and a win will position us well positively for the new year,” Ajoku told Heartland Media.

“We know our league’s position and we are not happy about it. We will work harder to secure the maximum points. Doma United fans played a crucial role in their impressive home form. The crowd that came to watch us against them was massive. They used the weather conditions, too. We want our fans in Owerri and remote villages to come all out and support us.”
